Así a sido la Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week de Madrid

This is how Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid went

Second day of ON MBFWM with very interesting proposals. The inspiration for the 2023-2024 season is "Calligram". The work of the entire OTRURA team is reflected in every piece and every garment, constructing our
Calligram, our language, how we express and position ourselves. Isabel Sanchís presented for the upcoming Autumn-Winter 2023/24 a seductive, strong and powerful collection that seeks to create a creative dialogue between the garment and the viewer, allowing them to convey sensations to each person.

It is a collection that showcases the enjoyment of the creation process of each piece and is connected to the modern woman. The designer brought the well-known model Marta López Álamo to the runway.

The brand Hannibal Laguna celebrates 35 years in fashion with its new collection HANNIBALISSIMO 35. After 35 years of success, its romantic and sophisticated hallmarks continue to cross borders to dress women worldwide with the magic of its needlework. These proposals dazzled both locals and foreigners. The designer brought one of his legendary models, now an actress, Godeliv Van den Brandt, to the runway.

proposal.

A collection with a color palette inspired by the work of the
contemporary painter Egon Schiele, the greatest representative of
Austrian expressionism. DUARTE's new collection for AW23 embarks on a journey to 1960s Greece, guided by a question in the form of a ballad that gives the collection its name.

Teresa Helbig presented a collection with a historical philosophy.
We find ourselves in the early 1500s in the United Kingdom.
Within an aristocratic family, the woman who would cause the rupture of the English monarchy with Roman Catholicism and consequently the founding of the Anglican Church was born. Margaret of Austria called her "Petite Boulain" (Anne Boleyn), and she is the protagonist of our story. The Catalan designer had a special visitor at her show; Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez was in the front row of her parade.

The second day of ON concluded with the fashion show organized by one of the catwalk's sponsors, L'Oréal Paris. The brand brought celebrities/models such as Paloma Lago, Nieves Álvarez, Desiré Cordero, Vanesa Romero, or Neus Bermejo along with her young daughter, just a few months old, to the runway.

Third day of ON MBFWM. Saturday's shows began with the silent flight of a butterfly, its hypnotic beauty and the splendid combination of colors that compose its precious wings are the starting point of Titalee A/W 23/24. A collection in which Odette Álvarez,
the brand's creative director, presents her emblematic jewel-embellished outerwear.

The designer from Cantabria brought models such as Neus Bermejo, Mayka Merino, and Lorena Durán to the runway. One is born where one is born, and one is reborn upon arriving in Madrid. Manuel García, creative director of GARCIA MADRID, returns to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid to represent the idea of birth with a meticulously crafted collection that combines contemporary tailoring with nods to childhood. Stylish suits, coats, jackets with skirts, an endless array of very "in" and "sexier" proposals. Actors Antonio Pagudo and Pepón Nieto, and models like Javier de Miguel, or Mark Vanderloo jr walked the runway. Morning, afternoon, and night. Three moments, three rhythms, three emotions but, above all, an ordinary day. Tempore explores the fascination I feel for the everyday images that pass through a woman's life. "With this collection,
I aim to reflect the sensory aspect of the daily act of dressing: what you wear changes how you feel," says Fely Campo. On this occasion, model Marta López Álamo once again walked in two looks.

Maya Hansen presents her Autumn/Winter 2023 collection based on circular economy and upcycling as a response to the advance of this phenomenon that affects the climate, the planet's biodiversity, and the health of all its inhabitants.

Custo, Welcome to the Other Side. Creativity and innovation are the other side of a functional collection that is both aesthetic and comfortable. Volumes and lines are the parameters that, along with the fusion of chosen materials, form the sought-after innovation. One more year, Custo Barcelona has shone with its unmistakable aesthetic and proposals based on the brand's characteristic style. Its winter collection features metallic and bright tones, with eye-catching and appealing colors that stand out even on the coldest winter days. Whether in New York or Madrid, Custo never disappoints; its creations, reaffirmed in the genetics of color, are among the most acclaimed by the audience, and "Welcome to the Other Side" has been no less.

The new CLARO couture collection is titled
DARE, based on the challenge of mixing very high couture pieces
with ready-to-wear pieces, because ultimately, that's what life is about:
balance. On the runway, we saw different looks for both
women and men, from curvy model Lorena Durán, to Javier de Miguel, Iván
Bernabe, and veteran top model Pino Montesdeoca.

Claro Couture

The perfect match of an entire collection with color: saturated and vibrant reds, browns, fuchsias, purples, and blues. A colorful proposal that transports us to that carefree and psychedelic ideal era of LOLA CASADEMUNT BY MAITE for the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 season. The designer exuded freshness and much glamour in her collection with perfect accessories for the different styles, highlighting the handbags. The brand once again featured Nieves Álvarez, Joana SanzDani Alves's wife –, Jessica Bueno, and Desiré Cordero on the runway; the presence of two men's looks stood out, the first time we've seen them in the brand's shows.

Lola Casademunt Fashion Week

The fashion shows of the last day of ON concluded with the presence of the guest country at Madrid Fashion Week, Morocco, with its "Morocco Kingdom of Light" proposal featuring 2 designers from the African country. "Richness, color, and eclectic style. I am trying, through the material around me, to create a story that captures culture, memories, artisanal work." Maison Artc: "Femininity, Authenticity, Orientalism. Moroccan craftsmanship, inspiration from an oriental and traditional universe, blend with Andalusian heritage," Albert Oiknine.

The award for best model went to Lorena Guitián from View Management, and the award for best collection/designer went to Isabel Sanchis. One of the curious moments of the runway was the presence of actor Antonio Banderas alongside his partner, both attending Agatha Ruíz de la Prada's show as spectators. Sunday's session served to present the collections of the newest designers of the moment, on the already consolidated EGO catwalk.
